Newlyr is an AI vocal replacement tool available at newlyr.com, operated as an independent product. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and the choices you have.
02What we collect
- Songs you upload, so we can separate the vocals and instrumental.
- Recordings you make in the browser, so we can merge them into your track.
- Your email address, when you create an account.
- Payment details, which are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card details.
- IP address and usage logs, to keep the service running and prevent abuse.
03What we never collect or do
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your audio to train AI models.
- We do not keep your songs or recordings after processing.
- We do not use advertising cookies. We use essential cookies only.
04Services we rely on
A small number of trusted providers help run Newlyr. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
- Lalal.ai: vocal and instrumental separation.
- AssemblyAI: lyric transcription.
- Railway and Netlify: hosting.
- Razorpay: payments.
05How we use your data
- To provide the service and process your remixes.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To send essential messages about your account or plan.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
06How long we keep it
- Songs and recordings: deleted immediately after processing.
- Account data: kept while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of you deleting it.
- Logs: kept for 30 days.
- Payment records: kept for 7 years, as required by law.
07Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance.

08Children
Newlyr is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it.
09Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. We use rate limiting, keep secrets in secure environment variables, and review our security regularly.
10Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the website. Continuing to use Newlyr after a change means you accept the updated policy.
